The Lighthouse Charity ‘Make It Visible’ Tour Visits GRK Civils Sites

GRK Civils recently welcomed the Lighthouse Charity Make It Visible tour to our sites at Wales High School and Framwellgate School.

The sessions gave our site teams the opportunity to hear directly about the support available across the construction industry – not just for individuals, but for their families too. A key message from the team was that all services are free and confidential, helping to remove common barriers that might stop people from reaching out.

During their time on site, the Lighthouse Charity team spoke openly about their own experiences, creating a relaxed environment for conversation. They answered questions and talked through the different types of support available, covering emotional, physical and financial wellbeing. Just as importantly, they explained how to access that support in a straightforward way.

Having these conversations on site matters. It helps normalise talking about wellbeing and ensures people are aware of the help available if they or someone close to them needs it.

Thank you to the Lighthouse Charity team for taking the time to visit our projects and for the work they continue to do across the industry.

Take a look at the amazing work the Lighthouse Charity do here.
